Responsibility

Your Printing and Mailing Partner for Innovative Marketing Solutions

As a company operating throughout Europe in the printing and media industry, acting responsibly is an integral part of our corporate culture. With a certified environmental management system, clearly defined environmental goals, and the continuous optimization of our processes, we are working to use resources efficiently and to continually improve our environmental performance.

Our Work Environment

Our Commitment to a Safe Work Environment and Certified Environmental Standards

At our printing facility, we rely on state-of-the-art technologies and strict safety standards to protect both the environment and the health of our employees. We minimize alcohol exposure during printing by using precise Unisensor measuring devices and reduce noise levels in the production area through a centralized air supply system and enclosed compressors.

Our Group A detergents, classified as hazard class AIII, offer additional protection, while we ensure environmentally sound disposal through the consistent separation and recycling of consumables. Responsible business practices are our top priority.

Isopropyl alcohol

To keep the alcohol content required for printing as low as possible, we print exclusively using the lowest alcohol concentration. This is ensured by the use of modern Unisensor measuring devices, which precisely control the alcohol dosage.

As a general rule, our machines are powered by a central air supply system installed in a separate room. This significantly reduces noise levels in the production area.
Where this is not possible, the compressors required for the air supply are enclosed or installed in special air supply cabinets.

We use only Group A detergents with hazard class AIII. This means that both the environment—thanks to a water-insoluble formulation—and individual employees—thanks to the high flash point—are protected.

As a rule, we take the subsequent disposal of delivery containers into account when purchasing our consumables. Where possible, we use large, reusable containers. All used materials and empty containers are pre-sorted through strict separation and sent to the recycling cycle via a certified waste management company.

The Blue Angel eco-label

The Blue Angel is an environmental label awarded in Germany since 1978 for particularly environmentally friendly products and services. The label guarantees that our print products meet the high standards for environmental and health properties. Process optimization can reduce energy consumption, paper waste and air and water emissions during the printing process. Printed products with the Blue Angel are therefore a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional printed products on the market.

Logo DNV

In 2012, we were awarded the ISO 50001 energy management system (EMS) certificate for the first time. Energy management includes the planning and operation of energy generation and consumption units. The aim of energy management is to systematically increase energy efficiency. This goes hand in hand with resource conservation, climate protection and cost reduction. We are constantly working to improve our system within the framework of ISO 50001. The EMS is monitored by our certification partner, DNV-GL, in regular audits.

We have implemented certification in accordance with the FSC® CoC standard into our internal processes. By using FSC®-certified paper, we support improved forest management worldwide. The wood used for FSC®-certified paper comes from responsibly managed forests. These forests are regularly audited and must be managed in an environmentally sound, socially responsible, and economically viable manner.

Logo First Climate ClimatePartner

We are constantly working to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions resulting from our business operations. Despite numerous measures, it is not possible to completely avoid emissions along the value chain. That is why we offer our customers the option to make a voluntary climate protection contribution upon request. This is based on a calculation of the greenhouse gas emissions caused by the respective printed product. The amount of the climate protection contribution is determined by these calculated emissions and is channeled into certified climate protection projects.

A CO₂ certificate is a data record documented in a publicly accessible database. It confirms that a climate protection project—certified according to recognized standards—has reduced greenhouse gas emissions or sequestered carbon over the long term. One certificate corresponds to one metric ton of CO₂ equivalent. Our customers can choose from selected, certified climate protection projects that make a verifiable contribution to reducing or sequestering greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with recognized standards.

Logo of the EU Ecolabel

The EU Ecolabel is an EU ecolabel recognized in all EU Member States as well as in Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland. Introduced in 1992 by an EU regulation, the voluntary label has gradually developed into a reference for consumers who want to contribute to reducing environmental pollution by purchasing more environmentally friendly products and services. The label is awarded to products and services that have a lower environmental impact than comparable products. The EU Ecolabel is intended to enable consumers to identify more environmentally friendly and healthier products.
